  1. Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay

About College: IITB was first established in 19621and since then has emerged as one of the top technical universities worldwide. The campus is situated in a serene place in the most happening city of India. The campus accommodates 15 hostels and provides amazing sport and fun amenities.

Eligibility:Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology as an optional subject, with at least 75% marks (65% for SC and ST candidates). Candidates also need to qualify JEE MAINS& JEE ADVANCE.

Admission Process: IIT Bombay admission process generally begins in September for UG. Admissions are based on candidates score/rank in JEE-Advance.

  1. Sardar Patel College of Engineering

About College: Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru inaugurated the college in 1962. It is under the management of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan. The Autonomous institute is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

Eligibility: Aspirants must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as mandatory subjects. Aspirants must have secured minimum 50% marks in mandatory subjects (45% marks for candidates belonging to backward class categories and persons with disability of Maharashtra state). Candidates also need to comply with the eligibility criteria stated by DTE.

Admission Process: Admissions to SPCE’sSPCE’s BTech programmes is made based on the marks acquired in MAHACET, conducted by DTE Maharashtra. The institute also accepts JEE Main scores and ranks for admissions.

Eligible aspirants are also required to attend the counselling process conducted by DTE.

  1. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute

About: Established as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute in 1887 and affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The Institute was renamed as Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) to honour the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji in 1997.

Eligibility: Candidates should have scored more than 50% in PCM combined in 10+2 from any recognised board (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC) and MAHACET.

Admission Process: Candidates are required to visit the official website of MAHACET and fill the form for the respective programme they wish to apply for. After obtaining the allotment letter from the respective examination, the candidate has to submit an application in the prescribed format in the institute for their application to be considered. The fee for the application is Rs.500 for Indian nationals and Rs.5000 for foreign candidates. Candidate needs to produce all the required documents at the time of counselling.

  1. SVKM’s NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering, Mumbai

About: NMIMS is accredited by NAAC’ NAAC’ A+” with 3.59 CGPA. It is an integrated campus approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board or university with English as a compulsory subject with science or science vocational with minimum 50% marks in PCM for Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai campus. Candidates awaiting their 10+2 results are also eligible to apply. Candidates with International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma) are eligible only if he/she has offered Mathematics at a higher level (HL). Candidates who have completed Diploma Engineering with a minimum 50 % aggregate, are also eligible to apply but they will be considered for admission after 10+2 candidates. Age <= 25.

Admission Process: Selection is based on NPAT scores followed by counselling.

About College: Amity University, Mumbai is a part of the Amity Group that has campuses both in India and abroad. It is a private university established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. Amity University Mumbai has been established under Maharashtra Govt. Act of 2014 of the Government of Maharashtra and is recognised as per Section 2(f) of the UGC Act.

Eligibility: Cleared class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and score of at least 60% in aggregate.

Admission Process: Admissions to AMITY UNIVERSITY MUMBAI B. tech programmes are made based on the marks acquired in MAHACET, conducted by DTE Maharashtra. The institute also accepts JEE Main scores and ranks for admissions. Students can also apply through AMITY-JEE.
